It’s so much more than that. This video is beyond words…at several parts I actually started crying because everyone is just having fun and not caring whether or not people think they’re weird or strange or anything. Every person here is beautiful and fantastic and hilarious and just…oh god…
I’m sorry gosh I’m crying so hard right now I can’t believe I almost gave this up because I felt awkward and stupid and isolated and I desperately wanted to fit in with everybody else. But because of this video…I don’t feel so alone anymore.
Cosplaying has become a huge part of my life, and I don’t think I could stop even if I wanted to. I’ve never met such nice, happy people who are comfortable in their own skin and in their interests. This community has changed the way I live and the way I view myself.
I don’t care that I may be judged or defined by what I like and what I do.
Thank you to who made this video. I’ve been struggling with parents and family looking down on me because I’m interested in cosplaying, and this has convinced me not to give up on what I love.
(now excuse me while i go get some tissues…)
